Helping a major retail brand become a force for good

The Giving Department has been supporting high street fashion giant River Island since 2012.

In that time, we have worked closely with the Main Board as well as key stakeholders at head office, the main distribution centre and across its 300 stores, delivering support that meets the retailer’s needs. 

The partnership covers all aspects of the company’s charity and community support, including customer-facing activity and skills support. The Giving Department also manages and delivers the internal ‘Giver Island’ scheme which provides match funding, payroll giving and volunteering opportunities available to all of the Company’s 10,000 staff across the UK and Ireland.

The Giving Department work hand in hand with the River Island team and Main Board to deliver across broad objectives.
